点评：We did a private tour with Maartje and it was one of our favorite experiences in Australia. Actually it was two experiences. First she picked us up for a sunrise over Kata Tjuṯa. She took us to an observation deck and the sun came up right in the center of the rock formation. There were about 30 to 40 other observers there, but the mood was quiet and peaceful. We were all in awe. Photos can't capture the incredible vividness of the colors and the awesomeness of the rock formations. She followed this up with a Walpa Gorge walk (we were the first visitors of the day and had the place to ourselves for awhile!) and a delicious breakfast picnic. After a middle -of-the-day break, she picked us up again and we visited the Uluru Cultural Center, saw several sites around the perimeter of the Rock, and then she took us to another observation area for sunset, complete with appetizers and sparkling wine. We learned so much throughout the day about the flora and fauna, ecology and geology of the area, the Culture of the native people, and so much more. We never tired of spending time with her and conversing. We will always remember her and this incredibly special place.
