Overpriced, Misleading, and Underwhelming!
Burning Kiln Winery的点评
点评：I had a very disappointing experience at Burning Kiln Winery. First, they served what looked like a standard wine flight — but then charged two flights per person simply because each pour was 2 ounces (how and why will a person doubt the pour size or measure it??). At no point were we informed this was their policy or asked if we wanted that. It felt sneaky and completely lacking in transparency. I did ask the waitress why did she do that, to which she said that’s how the system does it!
To make matters worse, I didn’t even enjoy the wines. The waitress wasn’t even able to answer basic questions about the winery and seemed clueless at best! For the price, I expected much better quality. The food was also overpriced and not worth it. Overall, the experience felt like a tourist trap rather than a place that values its guests. The waitress was in fact a dimwit or too sly!! (If I remember right, her name is Ashley who’d put sunglasses on during the shift on late afternoon of Sat July 13th). Wineries in the Niagara region are much better with better quality wines and cheaper tasting and operate professionally unlike this place!
Will NOT return to this place!!!!
