点评:Probablyone of the most unsung items to visit on Lesbos. Partly because you can get up really closely and appreciate the structure. There is a small information board in Greek and English giving the history and reason for the structure. It is very photogenic from all angles. You may have the place to yourself.
Now finding it! Google will direct you but only use it to get to Moria then follow the signposts (it is very well signposted but some are in strange positions - we drove past a couple). If in doubt ask a local - we did - and they are very clear. The roads in the village are narrow (not helped by vehicle parking) so large cars beware. The road from the village is of the "cobbled" variety and bumpy. We had no problem in a Fiat Panda!
The road the other way is passable. Much of it is a concrete surface but there are sections of country type hard packed stone surface. It is sometimes rutted but not severely. If it is dry I would not hesitate to use it. We got to the main Mytilini/Kolloni road in well under 15 minutes.
