Great sunrise hike - be prepared for aggressive tip seekers

点评：We departed at night to catch the sunrise, and we successfully did so. However, we did encounter one of those locals that initially points the way and then follows at a distance to aggressively take over at the first uncertain fork in the unmarked trail. We actually let him do this because it saved us time enough to make it up before sunrise, even though we had a downloaded map. If you don't like this, and I imagine most would not, and you have a downloaded map, be sure to politely say right away you already know the way and make it clear you won't be tipping. On your own expect to stop at a lot of unmarked forks to determine the right one because the tea fields naturally have a lot of worker paths and in the dark it's hard to see where they all go, but it isn't that hard. You will also go right by front doors of homes and near other buildings so don't think you made a mistake just because of that. Sometimes the correct fork in the road is the narrow path through the weeds.
