Fairly average MLB stadium

点评：American Family Field is a perfectly acceptable ballpark. Architecturally, it has a very generic retro design which seems out of place in its suburban setting surrounded by parking lots. Its major distinction is the fan-shaped retractable roof, which was oddly half-closed for the game on a beautiful summer day.
The inside of the stadium is not particularly distinctive, aside from the Bernie Brewer slide, sausage race, and comical Barrelman mascot. The game itself was awesome--a 1-0 Pirates victory where Paul Skenes pitched a no-hitter through seven innings. There are some unique concessions and the concourses are clean and wide.
The biggest issue here is getting in and out of the stadium, particularly if you don't have a car. I took an UBER to get there, which ended up snarled in traffic. On the way out, I decided to walk almost a mile to get to a bus stop on Wisconsin Ave. Overall, this is a pretty average MLB stadium, though it gets the job done.
