Lovely carvery meal with excellent value for money.

点评：Contrary to other people's experience and disappointing reviews I went today with my daughter and we each had a lovely carvery meal. There was a good selection of meat which was beautifully cooked, tender and moist with an excellent selection of vegetables and trimmings to go with it, all at a very reasonable price. My only negative is that the chairs provided are rather low for mid height to taller people, particularly for those who have arthritic knees, and which cause one to sit with pressure on one's stomach (even for those of a leaner build) which is not good anatomically for digestion. Perhaps a supply of suitable cushions might alleviate this problem. Later in the afternoon, I ate a large scone which I would say was on a little the dry side but that was adequately compensated for by the application of butter thus making the scone very enjoyable with a hot drink. I would gladly return after a most enjoyable day and look forward to doing so in the not too distant future.
