点评：My in laws booked a trail ride for my daughter’s birthday present. We pulled up to a secluded “stable.” As soon as I opened my door and went to get out of my vehicle a dog jumped all over me (I am 8 months pregnant and no I did not ride any horses just went to take pictures and wait on the family) The dog then tried to jump in my car and all over both of my children. My youngest is 4 and he already has a fear of large dogs. He came to support his big sister and pet a horse but stayed back with mom. The dog jumped all over everyone to which the owner told us to knee him if he jumped because he was still a pup and didn’t know any better. The entire time the guide was getting the horses ready the dog would continuously bark wanting people to throw his toy while nipping and jumping all over you if you picked it up to throw the toy. My husband said the trail was not cleared at all. It was not a beginner ride and that’s what we were looking for. The stables were not your traditional stables. It had one stall with a door and the rest were roped off without doors. I do feel like the horses could have been taken better care of. They didn’t appear to be malnourished but I didn’t see any food or water for them. Their hoofs were cracked and I didn’t notice shoes. The guide that took our family was very friendly and said he helped the owner from time to time. I have zero complaints with him. When our family returned my son and I got out of the car and walked over to the horse my daughter rode so he could pet her before they put her up. He had a balloon in his hand and the dog that jumped all over us came flying up to my son biting the balloon and scratching my son’s face. The dog wasn’t malicious but he should not have had free roam like he did. Thankfully my son didn’t get bit in the process of the dog biting the balloon and other than a few scratches and increase of fear when it comes to dogs he ended up being ok. I did yell at the dog and would happily do so again if he came near me or my son the rest of the day since they didn’t put him up or anything. We have had more professional experiences at other places. This felt a lot like someone giving horse back rides in their backyard/Shawnee forest vs a trail ride on trail horses from a legit stable. Overall my family had fun but because of the dog experience and the trail not being bush hogged we will not be going back.
