Poor service and long waits

点评：I have to separate this review into two parts - golfing and food/drink.
We arrived early Friday afternoon. I was expecting the queue to play to be long, which it was. This wasn't the problem. However, the very little seating and table space they have is. There is not enough seating or a big enough waiting area for people to hang about until they play. This needs to be looked into!
We managed to find a table, which was clear that it was not cleaned or wiped down after the people who used it. I tried to flag down a member of staff but they seemed to have tunnel vision and ignore customers. Many staff members were standing around doing nothing or busy talking to each other. We ordered food and drink through the phone. The service was poor!! It took staff 20 minutes to bring two beers, two milkshakes and one coffee to our table. And 35-40 minutes to deliver food. A table next to us got served food before us even though they ordered after us. How does that work? It shouldn't matter what somebody orders, it should be whoever orders first. The food was disappointing, the chips became cold quickly and the burger was very plain. A real disappointment. Overall, service was really poor. Staff members do not seem happy or interested in working there.
Now on to the golf. This was the only positive of the visit. It is nice to have heaters above each bay to keep you warm in the colder weather. During our playing time, which was a couple of hours, only one staff member came to our bay and asked if we wanted anything (and this was towards the end of our last game). The bay space is a good size and it's nice to have a table and chairs so you can sit and eat while watching others play.
I feel staff members need to be trained further in customer service and being proactive in their job.
