点评:We've been on an organised trip here before but decided to take a taxi this time so that we could just go at our own pace as I like to take loads of photos. We chose to go on a Wednesday as most of the organised trips from Parga seemed to go on a Tuesday or Friday. We went early, arriving there around 10am, and although there were other people there, there weren't large crowds. We had a couple of waterproof bags to put our clothes and camera in, which made life a bit easier. There aren't any lockers to hire (missing a trick here) so having the bags was essential IMO. We also had beach shoes. The river is very rocky in places so I don't know how some people were walking up in bare feet. The water is cold but you soon get used to it. Some areas the water comes up to your knees and thighs and in a couple of places its deeper, sometimes require a swim, which is where the waterproof bags are needed. The scenery is beautiful. We spent around 2 hours walking up and down the river then went to the cafe for lunch before getting the taxi back to Parga. There is a place there to go rafting or kayaking if you want too.
