点评:Let me start by saying the scenery is beautiful and the people at the access point are very sweet and knowledgeable. With that being said, this was a terrible visit due to an ungodly amount of mosquitos the entire 4 mile walk we did. We admittedly made the mistake of thinking it would get better, but it did not. In the shaded areas near the stiller water was the worst, but there was no relief no matter where we were. The high temperatures made it almost dangerous as we couldn’t stop and rest to view the scenery and let the heart rates come down as we immediately had 20+ mosquitos on each of us. My heart rate stayed in the 170+ for 40+ minutes of 77 minute hike. The apps said it was 90 degrees and 12% humidity. We are no strangers to heat/hiking/mosquitos, as we are from the southeastern U.S., and this was hands down the worst mosquitos either of us have ever experienced. For reference, we are a nurse and a firefighter/paramedic. I have lived in Singapore in the past and we live in Georgia. Please be very careful, carry/use bug spray, and heed this warning.
