Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo的点评
点评：Took the grands to KDU. They had a wonderful experience! Held an American Alligator, fed and petted kangaroos and other animals. They loved the gem mining. We took a picnic lunch, which I highly recommend. We
did not rent a golf cart as walking was not that strenuous. Only one incline at the beginning. And after being in the car for nearly 2 hours, we needed to walk! KDU is a small, family-owned zoo that offers close-up encounters and we love that it doesn’t cost a lot and that it doesn’t take all day to see everything. The cave tour is a little challenging for older folks like me with slower light/dark adjustments to eyesight and it is very slippery so wear study shoes and take it slowly. The history of the cave is interesting. I advise to come earlier in the day before the heat sets in as the capybaras were already in their “house” and we didn’t get to see them. If you’re wanting an all-day zoo adventure, Nashville is not that far from the area. Just hop on I-65 South.
