点评：Knebworth House is perfect for people of all ages, it's a stunning location in Stevenage. I want to give a special mention to the fantastic film location tour we had with Craig, it was so informative, so interesting and just so engaging! Clearly Craig has a passion for what he does and it really showed in the tour. A brilliant balance of information on films that have been shot at the house as well as details on how production companies did it. As a filmmaker, I really appreciated those little gems for others on the tour to understand what goes into filming at such a special place. We learnt so much and even got a gift at the end and a chance to explore their exhibition room. Which was all about the films shot on site, the concerts that have taken place there and a bit about the historic links with the family that have owned Knebworth and India (which ties in nicely with the fact that the Judi Dench film "Victoria and Abdul" was filmed here in 2017!)
We also took a tour of the house, and to hear the history of the place itself was wonderful. The gardens are magnificent, there is so much to explore and lovely statues to keep an eye out for. I had a soft spot for the dinosaur trail too! All in all a great place for a day out. You can bring a picnic or eat on site. With plenty of things to see and do, book your tickets now! You get a lot for your money and the grounds are so big, it never felt overcrowded. I would highly recommend a visit or two as soon as possible.
