点评：The worst customer service ever in a pub!
We were looking forward to returning to the ‘Zetland Arms’ at Kingsdown. Their website appeared to take our booking, we tried calling them to confirm but it went straight to answerphone. Having travelled two hours to get there with our young Grandsons, and waited in the queue at the bar, the older male bar staff initially ignored us & then threw us a look as if to say “yes?”
He took our drinks order but wouldn’t take our food order as we hadn’t given him a table number, but he then completely ignored us and went on to take a food order from the next customer who also didn’t have a table number & was sitting outside at the beach bench!
There was no table number on our table in their garden. We found out it was table number 4. By the time we went back in, to tell him the table number, he said they won’t be accepting anymore food orders! This was at 1.30pm, their website says food orders until 3pm. I asked politely if they could at least feed our hungry Grandchildren but they wouldn’t.
We’re disgusted by the bad service!
Firstly, they should get their website sorted out!
Secondly the older barman at the Zetland Arms you need to be re-trained in customer service!
Ultimately you did us a favour with your rudeness as we went to the ‘Rising Sun’ just two minutes walk away and were greeted by friendly & efficient staff, and their food was delicious!
