Winter Lantern Festival Washington DC的点评
点评：Complete waste of money. No one is checking entry so someone could potentially just walk in without paying which immediately gives you the sense that you were cheated by buying tickets. Upon entry it’s spread out in lot, there’s a few swings, a dark area on the backside of the tent where kids can ride the little electric animals like in the mall. Just an extremely underwhelming event. There’s 2 random food trucks, inside the tent area there’s just seats around and things strewn all over. On top of the underwhelming event it was also an additional $15 for parking. A few of the lanterns are worn and torn. It just seemed very thrown together. No particular order. If this were a free event or half the price it would have been ok for a few photos but nothing more. There were no performers like mentioned. We got there pretty early at 6pm. It wasn’t like we were the last time slot and they were prepping for closing. Having been to several winter light events this severely missed the mark. I would say save the money and choose something else, anything else. It all seemed very haphazard and thrown together to make a quick buck off of people expecting a real experience.
