点评:Hmm where to start….mixed feelings on this as it’s well…a bit nuts.
You have essentially millions of pounds spent building a faux Italian city which looks impressive although I wonder could the money be spent better elsewhere (my thoughts are they are trying to turn Phu Quoc into a prime SE Asia holiday island and enticing people with a European city without the need to visit Europe).
There are however countless empty buildings, shops and hotels which gives it a ghost town like feel but then on the other side of the coin they have a hugely
Impressive cable car, light show with an outside theatre and free nightly fireworks. They also have the night market which carries a good atmosphere, plenty of food options and places to sink a cold beer. Prices remain cheap despite how much money has been poured into this new ‘town’. All in all definitely worth a visit as I can guarantee you won’t come across anything else like this in SE Asia let alone Vietnam!
