点评：DISHONEST AGENCY!
Mauri Connect is nothing short of a scam. They lied to us, charged us 270 euros under false pretenses, claiming it was “non-refundable” insurance—something never disclosed upfront. This was outright theft, plain and simple.
We already paid for insurance as a family overseas and did not need any insurance. The man at the counter advised my husband to take the insurance since it is refundable and when we returned the car he said he never said the money was refundable.
The staff were rude and dismissive when confronted, showing no accountability or honesty. It’s clear they prey on tourists, using hidden fees and misleading information to make extra money.
If you value your money and sanity, do not touch this company. Mauri Connect is untrustworthy, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. We were cheated, and this experience ruined what should have been a simple car rental.
We even took the police to their agency and the director said that he was going to refund the money and to send an email with my bank account details.
We left Mauritius on that day.
I reached out to the agency for the refund via email the following day and they were abusive over the phone and no refund was processed.
