点评：If Mars and a tub of strawberry yoghurt had a baby, it would look exactly like the Pink Cliffs in Heathcote.
This place is a pocket-sized wonderland of mini gorges, soft pink clay, ironstone pebbles and wildflowers that seem to have hired their own stylist. You wander in thinking, “Oh, this will be nice,” and suddenly you’re standing in a pastel-coloured canyon feeling like an explorer in a very pretty sci-fi film.
The cliffs themselves were accidentally sculpted by gold miners in the 1880s and honestly? Not all historical mistakes age this well. The colours shift from blush to coral to dusty rose, and when the sun hits it just right, you’ll swear the whole place glows.
Wildflowers pop up everywhere like they’re auditioning for a nature calendar, and the serenity is next-level. No traffic noise, no crowds, just birds, breeze, and the crunch of gravel under your boots. Perfect for bushwalking, photography, daydreaming, and pretending you’ve stumbled onto another planet.
A few practical notes:
No bins, no seats, no water, no tables, it’s just you and nature doing your thing. So pack snacks, bring water, and take your rubbish home (the cliffs are gorgeous; let’s keep them that way).
