点评：This is a must do for birders. We go there 2-3 times a year and always are happy with the amount of birds that you can spot. It is a drive through, but you can pull off to the side of the road to photograph and watch birds. There are also trails to walk, which we actually never did. You don't need to for the bird watcing. On this winter trip, there are plenty of ducks to view, but the highlight is always the Snow Geese that come down from the Arctic for the winter months. There are a lot of them! It is always good anytime to visit here, but summer should be avoided. There are a lot of greenflies, so much so that they hit the windshield and the car. You cannot get out and if you do, they will go at you. The bite is painful. They can draw blood.
A small nature center is there and there are guided trips though the refuge with naturalists. Bathrooms are port-a johns.
