点评：I am writing to warn others about my extremely frustrating experience with Europcar Costa Rica. I recently rented a car through their website, where I was quoted a reasonable price for the rental. However, when I arrived to pick up the car, I was shocked to find that the charges were nearly three times the amount I was originally shown during booking.
Europcar did not disclose these additional charges at the time of booking, nor were they mentioned in any clear or upfront manner. This lack of transparency feels like an unfair scam, and I was left with no choice but to pay the inflated price, despite the misleading booking process.
What makes this even worse is that after I contacted Europcar multiple times to address the issue and request a refund for the overcharged amount, I received no response to my emails.
I am sharing my experience in the hopes that others will be more cautious when renting from Europcar Costa Rica. Be aware that the price you see online may not be the price you end up paying, and if you have an issue, you may not get the support you need to resolve it.
I urge Europcar Costa Rica to act transparently, and communicate better with their customers. Until then, I will be warning others to avoid renting from this company.
