Here you'll find numerous art studios that you can visit freely and meet their creators inside: ceramists, calligraphers, photographers, illustrators, painters, sculptors and mixed media artists. All are happy to welcome you with a smile. Colorful and inspiring, each has a different technique and a story to tell. In spring and summer, many art events and exhibitions are held here, and it is a place to meet and get inspired in an artistic crowd. It's also here that you can buy art directly from the artists in their studios, commission bespoke pieces and see each creator's work in progress. The studios are filled with unique pieces to suit all budgets and tastes. The best place to start your visit in the town of Grasse, famous for its perfumes, art and history.
The best way to get here is on foot, as there's no possibility of parking directly on site. The nearest parking lot is on the Place aux Herbes, or there are a number of car parks outside the city center.
The "Place des Artistes" is situated in the old part of the town, few steps down from the Cathedral and The Town Hall. In the festive season there are pink umbrellas which guide you to this place and you can't miss the characteristic oval Kiosque surrounded by its historical buildings.
