Waterfalls in the rice fields

点评：I’m not sure why this place only has one review as the place is a ‘must-do’ in Sumba.
It’s just a very short walk from a side road, across a rice field to a huge tree where there are a number of waterfalls nestled in amongst the rice fields.
We arrived later morning and pretty much had the place to ourselves for an hour or so.
The water is crystal blue and if you arrive at the right time of year the rice fields will be a sea of deep green - an incredible contrast. Make sure you walk around the edges of a few rice fields as you’ll get some great photos from a higher elevation.
You can swim in the water here - indeed as we were leaving a few local workers came down for a swim to cool off.
Well worth a visit - beautiful location, very quiet and no fee to enter or park !
