点评:This is the oddest place I've been this holiday - what a strange collection.
It was like I'd walked into someone's attic.
By the end of looking round it, complete strangers were talking to each other about what they'd found and pointing out things others shouldn't miss. There's a room full of samurai armour, a collection of bicycles, trucks and spinning wheels, early musical instruments, toys, dolls houses, the contents of a cobblers shop. You think that's weird, then you see where he actually lived, in a box bed surrounded by icons from churches and yet more stuff.
And I have serious garden envy - some of the colours and the planting.
There's a tea room and toilets by the entrance. The house itself is a short walk away through some woods, but there is a golf buggy that will take you if you can't walk that far. There are a fair few steps in the house though.
