Bad experience with worn out boots but company management did seem to care after the fact

点评：I originally rated this company a 1 since one of the boots I was given was ready for the trash and I did not realize it until I finally took it off and examined the boot. The insole was so worn out the pieces were balled up against the outside of the toe area and that’s why my toes were hurting so bad. The outside of the boot was also worn out and had a slit between the top and sole.
Upon returning the boots at the end of the hike I pointed these issues out to the young lady working at the counter. She said she’d take care of it, but as soon as I turned my back she put the boot into the pile with all the other returns so another customer was going to have the same bad experience.
I’ve changed my rating to a 3 now since the company management contacted me to apologize and offer a refund when I completed a feedback survey. It was nice to know that while the on-site team’s approach may be lacking, the experience I had was not what this company usually delivers. I still think anyone renting should be aware to check their boot thoroughly though. It can really make what is a wonderful hike a little less so when your feet hurt the whole time!
