Freedom Park的点评
点评：Freedom Park is truly one of the most powerful and beautiful places I’ve visited in South Africa. The architecture, the history, the symbolism all of it reflects the spirit of unity and remembrance. The space encourages reflection, pride, and healing. I absolutely love the park itself.
However, I was deeply disappointed by the conduct of the tour guides during our visit. Instead of creating an atmosphere of inclusion and respect, they made repeated racist remarks that felt deliberately inflammatory. Their tone and comments seemed intended to provoke discomfort or even anger, which is incredibly inappropriate especially in a place meant to represent freedom, reconciliation, and national pride.
It's disheartening that a place built to honor unity and diversity can be misrepresented by individuals who do not reflect its values. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and provides the necessary training or intervention to ensure all visitors are treated with dignity and respect.
The site deserves better. South Africa deserves better.
