点评:It was our first time visiting here and can't believe it's not somewhere we had visited before.
Parking was plentiful and free (there were disabled parking bays). To access the walking trails, you need to go through the Nature Discovery Centre. You can make donations upon entry to the centre at any price you like. There is a little gift shop inside, where you can buy gifts, a range of binoculars and telescopes and cakes and drinks. A trail guide is available from the Nature Discovery Centre to guide you around the reserve.
There are a number of nature trails to walk, bird hides and wonderful panoramic views over the reservoir. The walking trails are pushchair and wheelchair friendly. There are coloured markers around the trails, so you are aware of what trail you are on. The wooden carvings from Wind In The Willows are brilliant. I loved having photos with the different characters.
We had a great day here and spent a good few hours walking around the woodland and taking in the beautiful view of the reservoir. It is so peaceful and quiet, I felt very relaxed after visiting here.
