点评：My husband and I, avid birdwatchers, booked 3 tours with Paraiso Tours. We did 2 Cano Negro tours and 1 Medio Queso tour. We HIGHLY recommend doing all 3 tours, ideally over 3 mornings. Bird and wildlife activities are highest in the morning. One Cano Negro tour goes upstream, one goes downstream. And Medio Queso is a completely different kind of wetland, more an open grassland than a forest and should not be missed.
Owner-operator, Rosi Arguedas answered our emails professionally, clearly and promptly and helped us arrange the experience we wanted.
When we arrived at Cano Negro, Rosi was our boat operator and guide. She has lived in the area her entire life and understands the complexity of the wildlife and ecology there. Rosi quickly assessed our interests and gave us fabulous tours over 3 days. On top of being an excellent boat operator and extremely knowledgable Naturalist, Rosi is just good company. She is funny, light-hearted, speaks excellent English and felt more like a friend than a guide.
You will have choices of many operators at Cano Negro. We recommend that you go with this small, local, family-run company. The quality of the experience cannot be better and your travels will be richer for your decision.
