点评：Pros: an elegant and pretty village, car-free, with a laid back atmosphere. Friendly locals. The surrounding mountains are beautiful and ominous. Wide groomers at blue and red level. Fair for beginners, good for intermediates, and fair for experts. A few black pistes mostly at Spielboden and on part of Plattjen. Good off piste, I'm told. Some very pleasant restaurants. Some good supermarkets. Some good tourist shops to pick up souvenirs. Ice rink. The apartments are larger than comparable French ones.
Cons: the road was closed for days after a large rockfall. It was unsafe to pass until engineers had checked the mountainside to ensure there wouldn't be a repeat rockfall. It happen at other resorts too, for those people used to waiting six months for a pothole to be fixed. Some of the lift lines at resort level are about 30 minutes long at peak times in the morning and after lunch. The gondalas are achingly slow. Saas-Fee itself only has 100km of runs, excluding, Saas-Grund, Saas-Almagell. Not much apres for teens, 20s, 30s. Expensive but on a par with Val d'Isère.
I've visited twice and plan to go again 2025/26 because I warm to the friendly locals, the scenery is amazing, and there are enough challenging groomers to improve my skiing.
