When most ski stations do their best, Saas-Fee goes the other way

点评：Amazing landscape, mountains and a ski station most suitable for advanced and intermediate skiers. Keep in mind that If you go for a week you will have to pay around 120 swiss francs for parking and another CHF78 for a family of 3, for town tax (accommodation tax or something similar) . So, you start with CHF -200.
There are ski buses which are crowded during rush hours but generally they do their job.
Ski station operation is not at all reliable. We visited for the whole week just before Xmas and almost 70% of the ski lifts were closed with no apparent reason. Spielboden, Flangfluh, panoramalift, Plattjen, were all closed for the whole week. Leeboden opened only on Friday, so that kids could have their races.
Ski instructors were wondering why, business owners in the village were wondering why, not even the tourist office personnel did not know why this is the case.
We spend all these money for a full week of accommodation, dining and kid ski lessons and kid's care and in the end we skied only 2 days in Saas-Fee. How many times can someone ski two or even three slopes???? (top section, glacier section, was also closed one of the two days we skied, due to windy conditions although we did not experience any wind when we exited the Metro Alpin at 3.500 meters...)
