Lovely afternoon but too much sequence dancing

点评：We were given a gift of Afternoon Tea & dancing at the Tower Ballroom and the ballroom did not disappoint. It is a wonderful sight,very ornate & was like going back in time with its elegance & grandeur.
The afternoon tea was very nice & we were seated in the front so we could watch the dancing.
Having said all this the disappointment for us,as dancers, was that there was far too much sequence dancing. It seemed like the organist was playing for the regulars & what they wanted to do. There was no ballroom quickstep played nor a tango or an Argentine Tango & yet there were 2 Mayfair quicksteps and a Broadway quickstep ,both of which are sequence dances. Then there was 1 paso double but was only available for some couple doing a demo! We were there for 3 hours & yes enjoyed the experience but feel the dancing should be more fairly split.
