One of the best baseball stadiums in the country!

点评：I have visited many baseball stadiums in my life and this one is a stand out. We were Lucky to get a tour of the stadium early and then return to a Baseball game. As a Mets fan I am familiar with the Pittsburgh Pirates. As a kid, I watched the greats of Pittsburgh play at 3 rivers stadium. This new stadium is in a prime location along the Allegheny River with a city backdrop. An absolutely stunning view outside the stadium. The walk to the stadium on the Roberto Clemente bridge is also an enjoyable site. A day at this park is all about "America's great Past time." Historic city that hosts a historic team. A baseball park among one of the best in America. Inside the stadium things are very convenient for the fans. Our seats were in the Outfield and we had a great view of the field. Baseball fans should put this place on their bucket list. My Mets lost the game, but it was about Baseball that day.
A little history - The Pirates baseball team was founded in 1882 as the Pittsburgh Alleghenys. They won their first world series in 1909. PNC Park opened in the Spring of 2001 displaying the spirit of Pittsburgh Pirates fans.
