点评：Butterfly Beach is not worth a visit.
From the time you turn off the NH66 onto a a narrow road and thence onto A dirt track, the con starts. Pay 100/-for parking to some unknown entity. Then pay 250/- for a jeep ride to the ‘beach’ on a dirt trail. Or walk and be covered with dust from passing bikes and jeeps pay 10/-per person to use a toilet.
Then you reach the’ beach’ that is a joke of a place - a tiny stretch of sand swarming with people and boats. No peace and quiet here. The walk from the parking to the beach is hot and dusty and not recommended even though it’s only 1.5 km for which held charge 250/- per head return or 200 one way.
The con-job show continues on the water. Rent a boat for a 20 minute ride for 1500/-. Another rip off. There are no place to sit in the shade on the sand. The boat takes you around a bunch of rocks with names like turtle and crocodile.
Avoid this place it is overhyped and expensive and you have better beaches in Karwar.
