Butterfly Beach Goa: A Beautiful Escape Away from the Crowds

点评：I visited Butterfly Beach during my Goa trip last year, and it ended up being one of those places I remember more clearly than some of the famous beaches.
Getting there was part of the experience itself. It is not the kind of beach where you simply park your car, walk for two minutes and you are there. We took a boat ride, and as we started moving away from the busier side of Goa, everything became quieter. The coastline, the hills and the open sea made the journey feel like a small adventure.
When we finally reached Butterfly Beach, my first thought was that it looked much smaller than I had imagined from pictures online. But after spending a few minutes there, I actually started liking that about it. There were no long rows of shacks or loud music, just a small stretch of sand surrounded by greenery and rocks.
The water looked beautiful that day, and we spent quite a bit of time just sitting near the shore, taking photos and doing absolutely nothing. That was probably my favourite part. Goa can get very busy, especially around the popular beaches, so finding a place that felt slightly cut off from everything was refreshing.
One thing I would suggest is not coming here expecting a fully developed tourist beach. There are limited facilities, so carry water and anything else you might need. Also, check the sea and weather conditions before taking a boat.
Was it the most spectacular beach I have ever seen? Probably not. But the boat ride, the quiet surroundings and the feeling of discovering a little corner away from Goa's usual crowds made it special for me.
I would definitely recommend visiting once, especially if you are already around Palolem or South Goa and have a few hours to spare. Sometimes the journey to a place becomes as memorable as the place itself, and Butterfly Beach was exactly that for me.

有一件事我想提醒大家：别抱着能见到设施完善的旅游型海滩的期望而来。这里的配套设施有限，所以记得带上水以及任何你可能会需要的东西。另外，乘船前务必查看海况和天气情况。
这是我见过最壮观的海滩吗？大概算不上吧。不过乘船的经历……宁静的环境，以及仿佛发现了一处远离果阿拥挤人群的世外桃源的感觉，让我觉得这里格外特别。
我绝对推荐大家去一趟，尤其是如果你正好在帕洛莱姆或果阿南部地区，且有几个小时空闲时间的话。有时候，前往某个地方的旅程本身就能给人留下深刻印象，对我而言，蝴蝶海滩就是如此。
