点评：One aspect of our recent three-week holiday in Australia that we found disappointing was the increasing commercialisation of many visitor experiences. Whether it was paying for photos with a wombat or koala, high entry fees to attractions, or charges to attend dolphin feeding sessions, it often felt that there was a cost attached to everything.
Wine tasting in Margaret River was no exception. What was once a complimentary experience has been replaced by structured tasting options, where visitors pay to sample a selected number of wines. In fairness, the tasting fee is deducted from any wine purchased, and I can understand why wineries have adopted this approach. Nevertheless, I personally prefer the more traditional style of wine tasting.
That said, this winery was one of the best we visited in Margaret River. The staff were knowledgeable, welcoming, and happy to discuss the wines in detail. The tasting experience was enjoyable, and the wines themselves were excellent.
My reservations about the commercialisation of wine tasting aside, this is a winery I would happily recommend and would visit again.
