Paradise Island Adventure Golf Manchester的点评
点评：If you’ve ever wanted to play crazy golf in a place that looks like Indiana Jones’ holiday resort after a budget cut, Paradise Island at the Trafford Centre is for you. There are two courses — both jungle/tropical-themed, complete with tiki huts, stone carvings, and enough fake foliage to make you feel like you’re being judged by plastic parrots.
We went for the Temple Ruins course. “Ruins” being the key word here — not in the charming, ancient-history way, but more in the “this could really use a lick of paint” way. Still, 18 holes gave us ample time to forget about the fact we were technically still in the middle of a shopping centre.
Gameplay-wise, it’s fun enough — especially if you enjoy watching your friends dramatically overshoot a hole and send their ball into a nearby plastic fern. Price-wise, it’s not exactly a bargain, but when you’ve been trapped in retail purgatory for hours, the price of salvation (or at least distraction) starts to feel reasonable.
Verdict: Not quite a tropical adventure, but a decent break from the Trafford Centre’s endless chain of shops. Just don’t expect to find hidden treasure — unless you count the ball you accidentally lost three holes back.
