点评:We recently visited Dreamworld and paid full price for entry—which came out to over $300 for our group. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the price tag. Around half of the major, "big thrill" rides were completely closed or not operating during our visit.
While I understand that maintenance is necessary for safety, it feels highly unfair to charge guests 100% of the ticket price when such a massive portion of the park's main attractions are unavailable. A discounted entry fee on days with major ride closures would go a long way in showing goodwill to paying customers.
Interestingly, while half the rides were shut down, practically every single food outlet and souvenir shop was wide open and ready to take more of our money. It’s a shame the park's operational focus seems to be on retail rather than delivering the actual ride experiences we paid upfront to enjoy.
Unless you can verify ahead of time that all the major rides are running, I’d think twice before dropping full price on entry here.
