White Post Farm的点评
点评：First time visiting the Farm. We have friends that come here a lot and we weren’t disappointed.
Birds are housed in the most immaculately clean and spacious cages, cleanest I have ever seen in such an environment. Keepers were actively cleaning and tidying whilst we were there.
Indoor play area is great for little ones and big ones alike. There is a massive green slide for the children to scoot down on small plastic sledges. Loads of space to run around. The space was airy and didn’t smell like 1000 feet had been in there. Small little coffee hut, and loads of benches for those who had their own picnics.
We paid for the Meerkat experience and throughly recommend it to anyone considering it. The first part of the experience was preparing some foodie treats for the Meerkats. This involved handling live insects (you don’t have to handle if you don’t want to) even the most reluctant had a hold!
Then you make your way to the enclosure via the porcupines. A quick housekeeping dunk in the foot bath for everyone’s wellies and shoes.
The Meerkats literally clamber all over you. Which is a great feeling. They are ever so curious and scratch and scamper over your trousers looking for the odd insect that you aren’t sharing with them! One manger to make it into a coat pocket and was found a week later! 🤣
You WILL get muddy little paw prints all over you!
There is loads of outdoor space to run around - and loads of go-karts, mini tractors, and slides etc to play on. There is also a static combine harvester and tractor to play on near the shop.
Staff were all super friendly and really kind. Our guide for the Meerkat experience was ace. Super knowledgeable and didn’t rush the experience. I can’t recall his name. But we did speak to him about at the armadillo and other animals.
Inside the barn are some lovely smaller petting animals . Loads of hand washing facilities and toilets were really clean . Great day out. Generally accessible although top of the farm is grass/field would may get a bit muddy.
