点评:Our trip was planned around the Thursday night Farmers Market, our second visit. There’s something for everyone: it’s a combination of farmers market, foodie event (bbq, ethnic food), state fair (turkey legs, roasted corn on the cob, kettle corn) and shopping along Higuera street. If you want to grab food and go, it’s best to start lining up before 6pm, the lines were long by 6:15. All the food is on the west side closest to 101 (Nipomo St) and produce is on the Osos Street end.
The longest lines as we entered were for F.McClintocks BBQ, and (I think) Tacos Y Birria Sinaloa. Many people were drinking the Aquas Frescas Lupita, and I had their Mango Passionfruit, it was perfect! We had baby back ribs from The Rib Line, which was excellent! A bit messy, bring your hand wipes! Pie stand had a purple Okinawa sweet potato pie that was insane,y good, not overly sweet and good crust.
Worth planning a trip around — get a hotel within walking distance, easier than parking.
