点评：We’ve made it a family tradition to zip line on every family vacation. We’ve had incredible experiences in Costa Rica, Branson, Missouri, Kansas City, and Hawaii. This experience at Snow King Mountain started off rough when we could not even find the ticket counter to check-in. There were no signs and nothing was marked, and we spent 20 minutes just trying to find the right spot. I did appreciate the safety video and instructions to start. Our guides were not very friendly and they barely spoke to our group and when they did, it was in pretty direct about how to control the breaking system and lots of warnings which was a bit unsettling. We also were almost entirely responsible for putting on our own harness and then carrying 50 pounds worth of gear on our backs in the blazing hot sun. Our whole group had to walk up a pretty steep hill with all of this stuff on our backs and then wait at every zip line for the entire group of about 10 people to go. The experience was about three hours for only three zip lines and one of them was a demo line. This was unlike any other experience we had had before, so it was disappointing. I will say the views were very pretty, but there were some issues with a few people and their brake pads, which caused a scare on our last zip line. My sister and I both hit the springs extremely hard even though we followed their signs and cues on when to slow down and stop. We had to write up an incident report….I’ve never had any experience like this on a zip line and found their Zipline system to be a bit confusing, and it was made worse by the new brake pads that apparently were on my Sister’s equipment. I’m just glad nobody got hurt, but I honestly would not do this excursion again and I really don’t recommend it. We are an active family and love to zip line but this particular one was not well thought out.
