Wonderful Mississippi River cruise with Captain Gerry and First Mate Sally!

点评：We enjoyed cruising the Mississippi with Captain Gerry and First Mate Sally. The adventure started with our choice of either taking the chairlift or the alpine slide down to the river. The slide was the choice for most in our group and was really fun and different. Next we were greeted on board by the friendly crew. The boat had plenty of seating in the shade under a canopy, but once out on the river it was also possible to walk around the boat to get even better views at the front and back. We saw plenty of egrets, bald eagles, great blue herons, and turtles. The hour and a half trip went by quickly with the fascinating narration by our crew. Our kids were even given the opportunity to be captain for a moment. And lollipops were given out to all the passengers. Bug spray was also available. Water bottles were sold on board, but you can also bring your own. At the end we took the chairlift back up the mountain. This was such a special way to be introduced to the Mississippi.
