If you are planning on attending an event, I wouldn't count on it happening. Communication from management is a disaster all around, rather it be towards customer service or even to their internal team and staff.
I booked my trip to attend an event days before it was scheduled on their website, social media, and even called in to confirm it. Upon arrival, the day before the event, I found out that half the staff questioned if it was even happening as they were unclear themselves. Even if any of their event pages actually did say "subject to change due to weather" or something, conditions were perfectly fine if not better than the week later when they postponed the event to.
I was given an email to report the issue, and after some back and forth I was told that the issue would be escalated, and that I'd hear back from upper management shortly. After 2 months of trying to follow up, they just ignored all of my emails and the issue. I finally decided to include every email address I could find, along with Vail Corporate email. Interestingly enough, all the sudden I got a response only stating "Thank you for your input."
Thousands of dollars wasted for this trip, months of time waiting for the follow up from management, and a whole lot of frustration, just to be blown off. I see why so many employees complain about upper management and "marketing girl" to the guest.
This place is a disaster, surprised vail is even involved with them.
