Alabama Department of Archives and History的点评
点评：We came to Montgomery primarily for the Legacy sites but discovered this place while touring around the capitol. There's a lot to take in in Montgomery but I wanted to call out the Archive museum because I think it doesn't get enough exposure.
It's a really top notch Museum about Alabamas history starting with the native peoples all the way to present times. It's very well put together and doesn't hold back about the racial inequities that figured so prominently in the states formation. The displays, artifacts and videos do a great job of capturing not just the story of Alabama but all the states that were part of the beginning of the United States.
The museum is free and there are sections for kids. If you're more curious about the US than what you learned in 6th grade, I'd plan to spend 2-3 hours there.
