Hatley Pointe Ski Resort的点评
点评：Our family of four spent New Year’s Eve with all day ski passes at Hatley Point. After researching all the ski resorts in the area, we chose this one for the boutique appeal and small crowds. It did not disappoint.
We arrived at 10am and found service and the rental process smooth and friendly. Having to go back to the front desk for a locker was a pain but minor issue.
Not all slopes were open but we knew to expect this and was glad to still have fresh snow on the mountain from the day before. Three greens and a blue trail was enough to keep us busy for one day. Longest we waited for the lift was maybe 5-7minutes.
My only complaint would be lack of seating area and ski racks. An employee told us it was the busiest they had seen this season. Families were camped out for the day at tables and couches. We opted to drive 15min to the Little Creek Cafe to sit and relax with a hot meal instead of fighting for seats at the cafe. I would’ve loved to try out the restaurant but it didn’t open until dinner and hosted a NYE bash that evening.
The slopes reopened around 5:15 for night skiing which we really enjoyed. Felt like we had the slopes to ourselves. Could ski down and right back onto the lift. Look forward to returning on another winter break to see what additions and improvements they’ve made.
