Canaan Valley Resort的点评
点评：We went to the resort to snow-shoe but unfortunately there was no snow. However the resort has six trails and we did three of them during our three day stay. They are all beautiful, well maintained and fun to hike. I think the longest (The Promised Land) was about six miles long.
The resort is about two miles from the ski center. It is quite, family oriented and has a coffee and a gift shop, a modest restaurant and a lounge. During the weekends the restaurant becomes open buffet.
Eventually we returned home and did not notice that my Canon camera was missing over a week. When we could not find it my wife called the resort just to make sure we did not forget it there. Well, not there but in the ski resort we have forgotten it, after consuming their delicious burgers which you must try. They did not know the owner of the camera but have informed the resort about it.
I drove over 200 miles to the ski center to pick it up but it was closed. It was late evening and I did not want to return home without it. But the manager of the resort Elana Backus, contacted the person in the ski resort at her home, met her at the resort and picked up my camera and delivered it to me.
What she did was really above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Elana!
