点评：As always, loved our visit to Butternut. We were 2 families- 4 adults and kids ages 4 (almost 5), 9 and 11. Introduced another family to the mountain and they really enjoyed it.
Beginner area was great for the 4 year old as a first timer- he built up enough comfort over the day to ski unassisted down from the lower carpet. The 9 year old was able to ski unassisted from the higher carpet and beginner lift and graduated to a green by end of day off Highline Quad.
Nice progressive terrain enough for all levels (our group had 2 newbies, 1 high beginner, 2 intermediate and 2 experts) for a quick and easy overnight or even day trip from Fairfield County CT with more reliable conditions than the CT mountains, not to mention the FANTASTIC $25 midweek rate which can’t be beat anywhere around!! If you can play hooky for a day it’s the best ski deal around! $20 for ages 7-13 and $15 under 7. The whole family can ski for less than the price of 1 ticket at other places and it’s so much more pleasant than skiing on the weekend with the crowds and the wait.
Trails were in good condition. Lifts are good and staff was good as always. They’re more chill than at a lot of mountains and don’t yell at you for every little thing.
Lodge is good, spacious and food/drinks are decent enough. Plenty of seating inside and out. Ticketing is well organized- just remember to buy tix ahead if it’s the weekend. Return/refund policy is generous- full refund up to 48 hours, with just a small processing fee.

雪道状况良好。缆车运行正常，工作人员也一如既往地友善。这里的氛围比很多滑雪场要轻松，也不会因为一点小事就对游客大喊大叫。
度假屋不错，空间宽敞，食物和饮料也还算可以。室内外都有充足的座位。票务管理井然有序——不过周末时记得提前购票。退换票政策也很宽松：在购票后48小时内即可全额退款，仅需支付极少的手续费而已。
