点评：Attended to watch a weekend of collegiate racing.
Good-
Parking attendants were well organized
Online ticket purchase was easily redeemed
Mountain hosts at the entrance were helpful
Mediocre-
Snow conditions. It’s been a rough season. Grooming was average. In 2 days of skiing and watching races, I saw 2 ski patrol members total. Definitely understaffed for a beginner mountain.
Poor-
Lodge experience /hospitality
Bag “storage” was 2 racks on the outdoor patio. No indoor cubbies or hooks.
People are allowed to sit at a table for 30 minutes and then must move.
You cannot lay out food without being timed.
I tried to sit at a table and read and after being interrupted twice to be reminded of said 30 minute rule, I pointed out that the lodge was empty- I was told they were “preparing for the lunchtime rush”
Resorts make a fair amount of money for hosting these races. The least they could do is allow race teams an area to stage their food and gear. This is the first time I’ve ever encountered policies that are so unfriendly to the groups that fund the operation.
