Pantanal Photo Tours的点评
点评：In September of 2025 I was fortunate enough to do the 2025 Complete Pantanal Houseboat Tour.
Pantanal Photo Tours is a very well run, professional company with good communication in English. I had no issues inquiring or booking the trip.
Our guide, Guilherme, made sure all details of the trip were taken care of. He is a great guide, wildlife expert and photography coach.
The groups on this tour are only 6 people which made for a more personalized trip. Two in our group were not photographers but they made good wildlife spotters!
All five stops, including the pretour, (Trilha dos Tucanos Lodge, Hotel Cabanas, Aguape Lodge, Burranco Alto Lodge and Paroramico Houseboat) showcased different environments adding to the experience of the Pantanal. They were all clean hotels, safe, with good food. Trilha dos Tucanos had the best food!
We had 27 jaguar sightings – yes 27! Staying on the houseboat allowed
decreased travel time to the forest and we stayed later at dusk. This is when lots of our Jaguar sightings happened.
We saw ten tapirs, numerous giant otters, giant anteaters, capybara and many birds- not just a few birds but countless including the beautiful Hyacinth Macaw. We also saw one anaconda but it was unfortunately in the jaws of a jaguar becoming dinner!
The Pantanal should be on any wildlife lovers list. It easily rivals Africa. Pantanal Photo Tours is a great company to see this fascinating area with.
Yes, I would do this tour with this company again if the chance arose and, yes, I have already been recommending them to everyone who looks at my photos and ask the company I traveled with.
