Wonderful Chiuly Art
Union Station的点评
点评：During this trip up to Seattle we finally arrived during operating hours.
Even though there was an event planned, we were still allowed to go inside and check out the Chiuly glass works on the 2nd floor as well as the basement to see the historical exhibits on Union Station.
There were four different Chiuly displays on each side of the station and the massive chandelier hanging from the rotunda (impressive in its own right). My favorite was the Lackawanna Ikebana which was a huge circle of glass sculptures.
In the basement there were two displays filled with photos and memorabilia of the stations heyday when passengers could catch the train. Restrooms were located here.
As a courthouse the design and art inside Union Station make this a unique place to visit. Those who work or visit here on a regular basis are fortunate.
