Once and Done with Greek Peak
Greek Peak Mountain Resort的点评
点评：We had four families that stayed at Hope Lake Lodge over the MLK holiday weekend. We originally booked a trip to Colorado, but pushed it back due to the lack of snow in the west this year.
This was our first visit to Greek Peak, and while we enjoyed Hope Lake Lodge, we were very disappointed in the ski area. Snow coverage and grooming were good, but the lifts are well past their prime. The "Visions Express" lift is actually a fixed speed lift. We felt that having "Express" in the name of the lift was deceiving, as we assumed that it was a high speed detachable lift. We found all of your lifts very old, slow, and dated. Additionally, not all of the lifts were open at 8:30AM, which was odd. It was a holiday weekend--a time to put your best foot foreword. We were told by locals who ski Greek Peak frequently that it is typical for the ski area to not operate all of their lifts. For the first hour of the day, our only lift options were the Visions Express lift and the beginner lift. The lines were excessive around 9:00, which could have been prevented.
While we had a nice weekend, unless you improve your ski area operations and lifts, I can't say that any of us would have a reason to ever return.
