I had the pleasure of booking all 3 private transports that were needed for a family of 5 adults with suitcases and carry-ons from home before I left for my stay in Costa Rica.
For the first pick up, we had the pleasure of being taken care of by the owner, Marco Alvarado. Such a gentleman! He arrived in advance, in a clean, air-conditionned van with refreshments and took us from Guanacaste to San José. He was a great guide and we had great conversations in English and Spanish.
For the 2nd and 3rd transports, we had the equivalent pleasure of discovering Turrialba and getting to the airport with our guide, Jimy Gomez, a lover of nature and proud Tico 😊. Jimy was also fluent in English.
We appreciated the little attention that make all the difference. For example, Marco had made sure that Jimy had a little bench for my mom to climb into the van as she has some mobility challenges. Also when we got to CATIE, Jimy enquired and got a wheelchair for her to facilitate the visit of the grounds.
Like the name of the company says it, expect genuine great service from Marco and his team.
