Air Mobility Command Museum的点评
点评：Totally a first class experience! We spent four hours there boarding all of the planes that were open as well as spending a good amount of time in the museum. We went on open cockpit day, which is only once a month. I would highly recommend it. The museum is run by volunteers and everyone was as nice and helpful as could possibly be. They loved sharing personal stories about the aircrafts and their wartime experience. Many of the volunteers piloted the actual aircraft that they were talking about. As they advised at the start of our visit, I would highly recommend going to the observation tower first and then boarding the planes that are open outside if you visit on open cockpit day, then the indoor museum last. That too has many exhibits, including a B-17 bomber and two airplane flight simulators which my grandson thoroughly enjoyed. They don’t charge admission or a parking fee, so donate generously when you go. It is well worth the trip.
